On behalf of Ekovest, AmInvestment Bank Berhad is pleased to announce that as at the close of acceptance and payment for the Rights Issue With Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 16 June 2014, the total valid acceptances received were 243,373,373 Rights Shares together with 121,686,686 Warrants, representing a subscription rate of 99.58%.

Together with the total valid excess applications received of 10,758,796 Rights Shares with 5,379,398 Warrants, this represents an over-subscription of 3.98% over the total amount of 244,413,960 Rights Shares with 122,206,980 Warrants available for subscription.

The total proceeds received from the valid acceptances and excess applications amounted to RM254,132,169, of which over-subscription monies totaling RM9,718,209 will be refunded in the manner as stated in the Abridged Prospectus dated 30 May 2014 in relation to the Rights Issue With Warrants (“Abridged Prospectus”). 

The excess 1,040,587 Rights Shares with 520,293 Warrants will be allotted in the manner as stated in the Abridged Prospectus.

Details of the acceptances and excess applications received as at the close of acceptance and payment for the Rights Issue With Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 16 June 2014 are set out in Table 1.

The Rights Shares and Warrants are expected to be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 30 June 2014.
