EKOVEST BERHAD (“EKOVEST” OR THE “COMPANY”)

(I) PROPOSED TRANSFER OF 100% OF THE ORDINARY SHARES OF RM1.00 EACH IN WIRA KRISTAL SDN BHD (“WIRA KRISTAL”) IN EXCHANGE FOR NEW ORDINARY SHARES OF RM1.00 EACH IN EKOVEST (“PROPOSED SHARE EXCHANGE”);

(II) PROPOSED EMPLOYEES SHARE OPTION SCHEME (“ESOS”) FOR THE ELIGIBLE DIRECTORS AND EMPLOYEES OF EKOVEST AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES (“PROPOSED ESOS”); AND

(III) PROPOSED INCREASE IN AUTHORISED SHARE CAPITAL (“PROPOSED IASC”) OF THE COMPANY

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Company, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that Bursa Securities had, vide its letter dated 22 June 2012, approved an extension of time of three (3) months from 29 April 2012 to 29 July 2012 to submit the draft circular to the shareholders of Ekovest for the Proposed ESOS in accordance with Paragraph 9.33(1)(a) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
