We refer to the article headlined “MRCB sells DUKE stake: Ekovest buys remaining 30% of highway concession for RM230mil” appearing in the StarBiz section of The Star on 22 January 2014. We wish to clarify that the Company is in discussions with Malaysian Resources Corporation Berhad to explore the potential acquisition of the remaining 30% interest in Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd, the concession holder of the Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (“DUKE”). However, discussions on the potential acquisition are still preliminary and the terms have yet to be finalised. We will make the appropriate announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (“Bursa Securities”) upon finalisation and signing of an agreement, if any, in accordance with Bursa Securities’ Main Market Listing Requirements.
