Ms. Jasmine Cheong graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) from University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom in 2015. She obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice in the following year, subsequently admitted to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2017. She has pursued criminal law under the mentorship of Datuk N Sivananthan from November 2016 to June 2020. Currently, Ms. Jasmine Cheong is a Partner of Messrs. Cheong & Maman, a firm where she co-founded in July 2020. She heads the criminal and insurance divisions of the firm handling various offences such as white-collar crime, drug related offences, corruption cases, immigration, detention without trial and refugee cases. The insurance division handles with claims for personal injury, third party damage, own damage and defendant work for certain entities. |
